Les Borges del Camp is a municipality in the district of Lower Camp on the western side of Tarragona, a natural and historic region of southern Catalonia. The region is flat, surrounded by the mountains of the pre-coastal mountain range and the Mediterranean Sea, contact the Penedes, Conca de Barbera, and the Lands of the Ebro.

Les Borges del Camp is located at the foot of the Sierra foothills of Mussara and Prades Mountains, and offers a direct and simple discovery of some of the typical landscapes of the region of Tarragona: the flat farm fields of hazel, mountain foothills and the Mediterranean Sea.

The landscape is not only the heel of the bottom of our daily lives, not the image that we seek or relax in our spare time. The landscape has cultural remains of people who have lived, shows how people have interacted with their environment and how they interact still offers us a sketch of the power of natural elements and configurator of the struggle of man to survive in and adapt.

The landscape, therefore, allows us to explore many aspects that make up our identity, both current and past. Watch it allows us to know and understand the reality around us while we show the history and evolution that has taken our society. Each landscape allows us to discover traces of our heritage and our present or the forces of nature.

El Puig d'en Cama (718 m) stands proud on the plain, overlooking the small mountain behind presenting the reliefs of the majestic mountains of Prades. At its top is located a guardhouse wildfires.

We left the village by an ancient road Almoster livestock, following the mark of the road network * that will take us up gradually to the Puig d'en Cama. Good views on a clear day will reward the effort of the climb, before heading the ridge road, very hilly, to the hermitage of San Pedro del Puig, XII century. We continued down the old road to San Pedro of la Selva, in the first tranche is not cyclable (if you go mountain biking have the option to go down the paved road). From Selva del Camp, after following a short stretch of road, take right the way back to San Pedro, who will soon leave to go straight, flat, on the old road Almoster. Moving between fields reach the local road, we'll have to keep a small section (look out for cars as it is very close) until Almoster crossing the stream.

Excursion Maspujols cultivated land, and they Maspujols, Aleixar and les Borges del Camp, where the fields peoples coexist with urban sprawl of land and forest fires. Return by les Borges del Camp, where the road crosses an area affected by fire more than 100 ha, that is passed Maspujols terms, Alforja Aleixar and we will reflect on the impact of fires in old crops colonized back through the woods.

We left them les Borges del Camp Roques towards Roques Brunes, following the marks of the road network *, halfway we can divert to visit the town of Maspujols. We arrived at l'Aleixar between hazel and field, without crossing the road, we left the road leading to the hermitage of San Antoni, the seventeenth century. We continued up the road until, after a closed corner where Rocabruna crossed the ravine, we take the right path that leads us to the path of Valls. We will plan with good views of the Camp by a road equipped with interpretive panels of the landscape, and descend to the gully Alforja, we will follow them back to les Borges del Camp.

We propose a discovery of this landscape as ours, we take the fields to the church of Puigcerver, vantage point where the shrine stands the thirteenth century and surrounded by towering oaks. Riudecols's visit, and Alforja Puigcerver can be extended with a walk to Botarell, an intense day of mountain biking in which the nuts will be very necessary!

Riudecols we left towards the church of Puigcerver, surpassing the 400 meters of gap, effort is rewarded for the view we get. Continued by the PR * Alforja direction, through the Creu of Formatge and the chapel, which indicates the point from where we started to see coming from Alforja Puigcerver. Through the village, leaving the south and taking the old road Riudecols (trademarks road network *), up to the Coll dels Banys known. We descended to cross the gully and we were Voltes Riudecols the north. If you still want more, you have the possibility of a return to the village of Botarell, through the Coll del Mas d'en Casas and returning along the old road, flatter, communication with Riudecols.

We propose a route that can be done to complete the visit Riudecols, Alforja Puigcerver and lengthening the course to Botarell.

From Riudecols, has the possibility of a return to the village of Botarell, through the saddle of Mas d'en Casas and returning along the old road, flatter, communication with Riudecols.

Tour that will allow us to enjoy the cultivated fields that climb in the foothills of the Mountains of Prades, a rural landscape setting of the actions of the maquis, and the attempted sabotage of the power line to Seròs Reus to commemorate the proclamation of the Second Republic (1947). Blew up a pylon in the end of Vilaplana, but apparently failed to stop the operation.

The tour left Aleixar of the road farmhouse of Pubill, including the imposing stone pine of the Planes, up to Vilaplana, following the signs to the road network *. We climbed to the top of Main Street, and left the village to the east, across the highway and taking the right path that connected the village with l'Albiol. We arrived at Reus way to Prades, labeled GR * and continue down past the hill of Batalla (Hill of the Battle). Just before we left the house of Borbó GR * and we went right into the path of Segimon But we returned to l'Aleixar.
