Walk allowing you to enjoy farmland climbing up to the buttresses of the Prades Mountains. An agricultural landscape, the scene of actions by resistance fighters, such as the 1947 attempt to sabotage the power line from Seròs to Reus to commemorate the proclamation of the 2nd Republic. A pylon in the municipality of Vilaplana was blown up, but it appears that they did not manage to interrupt operations.
Walk leaving L’Aleixar on the Mas de Pubill path, passing the imposing stone pine of Les Planes before reaching Vilaplana. Climb up to the top of Carrer Major and leave the village, heading east, crossing the main road and taking the path linking the village with L’Albiol on the right. You reach the path from Reus to Prades, marked as a long-distance footpath (GR), and carry on down, passing La Batalla pass. Just before Mas de Borbó, leave the long-distance path and descend to the right on the Mas de Segimon path that will take you back to L’Aleixar.
