Mont-roig del Camp is a municipality that belongs administratively in the region of Costa Dorada and the natural and historic region of Camp de Tarragona.
The first document which speaks of our people we found on 23 January 1118, when Ramon Berenguer III the prime contractor to Sant Oleguer archbishop of Tarragona, to restore the metropolitan and repopulate the area.
